Tui Sing The Day To Sleep

March 19, 2019March 19, 2019 / Tony French / Leave a comment
(Christchurch shooting, 15-3-19 RIP)

Tui sing the day to sleep.
The nation’s bed

Has been sweat and dread.

A Nightmare of Violence
Rending the Sky

Rending the Fabric of Sky, shred.

But Tui sing the days to sleep.
In bed of Earth and Sky of Peace

There’s not one mark, not one crease.
